Files and instructions.
1 - M919 Sabot petals.
This should be printed as a single part, and printed at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle
tree/organic supports are recommended.
once printed using a clean modelling knife or Stanley blade gently separate the 3 sabot petal parts.
2 - M919 Cap
print at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
no support is required
3- M919 Dart
print with a brim or mouse ears, no other support required
0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle
4 - Obturating ring TPU
Print with a 95a shure TPU, 100% infill.
print using your own TPU settings.
once printed use a sharp modelling knife to slice the seam to split the ring.
Printing this will depend on your own printer tolerances. if you are unable to separate the sabot petals, print each one separately with tree/organic supports.
Please note that the top is very tight to the sabot petals and once built will not come apart by accident. There will no after sales help with this file but if you need the file converted to STL or OBJ please let me know.
Excellent item for display and will perfectly fit a 25mm M919 shell casing.
